Jerry Sjogren is the Senior Director of Safety for the Recycled Materials Association (ReMA). With more than three decades of leadership in environmental, health, safety (EHS), and transportation management, Jerry has a proven track record of advancing workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance across the industry. 

Prior to his role at ReMA, Jerry was the Safety Director at E.L. Harvey & Sons in Westborough, Mass., where he directed corporate safety programs, environmental initiatives, and regulatory compliance. Throughout his career, Jerry has actively shaped industry standards, holding key roles with ANSI Z245 subcommittees, the National Waste and Recycling Association (NWRA), and former chair of the ISRI (now ReMA) Safety & Environmental Council (ISEC). Certified in Emergency Response & Incident Command, Jerry specializes in operational safety, employee relations, and multi-level regulatory compliance.
